There is a rubber pad on the bottom to help to protect the bottles not to easily broken. The pad can also prevent the heat transfering from the bottom stainless steel to the bottles and keep the drink tempreture.
The drink holder has a nylon drain hole under the bottom to keep the water away. Under the rim there is a self-adhesive gasket for flush mount. The installation of the drink holder is very simple, just place it where you want, no screws needed.
